Coming from a business background with a creative eye, Jennifer Slama is one that you would call a triple threat: precision, quality and care all come into play. Writing, the name of her first love, served as an outlet during her early years, leading her to become a nationally and internationally published poet by the age of 11. Around the same time, she developed an appreciation for another art form: fashion.

Jennifer began her career in fashion media after building a following through her tumblr, working across several prestige fashion publications where she served as an editor and worked on set as a stylist before evolving into roles as an art director and producer.

Seeking to merge her creative background with her business education, Jennifer transitioned into business development. She first served as a Business Development Manager for a SaaS platform, where she became both a top-performing salesperson and a “player-coach,” managing and mentoring teams while building partnerships with some of the most recognizable names in fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

Jennifer later served as Director of Business Development at a creative production agency, where she sourced and launched a subsidiary studio in Manhattan’s Starrett-Lehigh Building. She also held roles as Sales Director of North America for a leading offshore provider and Head of Sales at Industrial Color. Her client work includes brands such as Saint Laurent, SEPHORA, Coach, Revlon and rag & bone.

Today, Jennifer leads enterprise sales at AIUTA, which provides AI-powered solutions for digital assets and models. Clients include ASOS, alice+olivia and Gap.

Jennifer serves on the advisory board for Pace University’s Lubin School of Business Design Thinking Program and teaches graduate students. She selectively mentors young professionals entering the fashion, retail and beauty industries.

She graduated in the top 10% of her class from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business and holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer also writes résumés and bios, just like she wrote this one.
